The Montana Department of Agriculture (MDA) operates more than 30 programs, many funded entirely through user fees. These include regulatory programs that protect producers, consumers and the environment, as well as development and marketing programs to foster growth in Montana agriculture.

The SBA connects entrepreneurs with lenders and funding to help them plan, start and grow their business.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business organization representing companies of all sizes across every sector of the economy. They advocate pro-business policies on the national level.

America’s SBDC represents America’s nationwide network of Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) – the most comprehensive small business assistance network in the United States and its territories.

Headwaters RC&D is a 501c(3) non-profit focused on improving the economic and social well-being of the Southwest Montana region through conservation, development, and proper use of natural and human resources.

Creates and sustains an optimal business climate, business prosperity, and a strong Montana economy, the Montana Chamber of Commerce, through advocacy, education, and collaboration, works to provide an empowered and educated workforce, reduce business growth obstacles, and advance positions that promote success for Montana businesses.

The Bureau of Business and Economic Research is a research department within the College of Business at the University of Montana, Missoula. They produce a variety of economic and industry data including annual economic forecasts for the United States as well as Montana, its industries, and counties.
